"........what would the meals be like?" I must admit to a tinge of concern.
Fortunately, our full and satisfied stomachs dissolved all feelings of apprehension.
A plentiful variety of well prepared meals were ours to enjoy throughout our wilderness journey launched at the towering Virginia Falls and continuing on down through the deepest
canyon system in the world north of the 60th parallel.

Two occasions we still fondly recall:

One large whole salmon + a wood and charcoal fire + a super cook with his own sauce recipe + a wilderness environment + a group of fellow outdoor enthusiasts = a great mealtime experience!
