Accommodations vary with each trip, ranging from a combination of lodges and camping to base-camp facilities. We choose accommodations to reflect the character and ambiance of Belize and for the proximity to outstanding and unique natural and cultural environments.

Glover's Reef & Halfmoon Caye Marine Base Camps

Lighthouse PavillionOn the water's edge, with dramatic views over the main reef wall and the open Caribbean Sea, is our dining area, with large raised verandah, bar, lounge and resource library. The camp is powered by solar and wind generated electricity with freshwater showers, modern compost toilets and refrigeration. Guests sleep in comfortable tent/cabanas with wooden floors and either single or double beds. Delicious meals featuring Creole and international cuisine are prepared and served buffet style in our open air dining area by our much beloved cooks. Along the lines of our popular Glovers Reef Basecamp we have also established our newest full service Basecamp at Halfmoon Caye on Lighthouse Reef.

Expedition Camping

Camping on beachOn the sea and in the jungle we often camp in remote wilderness settings. Our expedition camps are designed to be carried with us in our kayaks and are fully catered with field kitchens (you'll be amazed at the gourmet meals guides prepare), free-standing tents, hammocks and camp chairs. All you need to bring is your usual outdoor clothing and personal gear.
